In 2021, Matthew embarked on a new chapter of his legal career with Mills & Mills LLP, stepping into the role of a LegalShield Associate. His educational journey is marked by an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto, followed by a Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa, culminating in his admission to the Ontario Bar in 2018.

Before his tenure at Mills & Mills LLP, Matthew sharpened his legal skills in a diverse Oakville-based general practice firm. His expertise spans a broad spectrum, from defending criminal cases to navigating the intricacies of civil litigation, small claims court, and residential real estate. Furthermore, Matthew's proficiency extends to family law, wills and estates, and corporate law, showcasing his versatile legal acumen.

An advocate for accessible justice, Matthew contributed his expertise to the Criminal Law Legal Aid Panel and took on roles such as Duty Counsel in the Ontario Court of Justice, demonstrating his commitment to serving those in need.
