Since his admission to the Law Society of Ontario in the year 2000, Michael L. Bennett has dedicated his professional life to the realm of Personal Injury Law. Initially, Michael’s career saw him representing the interests of various insurance companies as well as the Office of the Public Guardian and Trustee. However, he has since focused his efforts solely on advocating for those who have suffered injuries and their families.

Throughout his career, Michael has stood before numerous esteemed bodies, including the Ontario Court of Appeal and the Superior Court of Justice of Ontario, among others. His legal confrontations have spanned a wide array of issues, from dissecting the nuances of insurance coverage and entitlements to defending the rights of the insured and tackling Catastrophic Impairment cases with tenacity.

Known for his compassionate yet bold representation, Michael is relentless in pursuing the best possible outcomes for his clients. He champions the cause of individuals grappling with the aftermath of severe orthopaedic, brain, and spinal cord injuries, ensuring they receive the necessary care and support.

Michael’s journey with Thomson Rogers, a notable law firm, began in 2002, and by 2008, he had ascended to the position of partner, a role he fills to this day with unwavering commitment to his clients' welfare.

His academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts from the University of McGill and a Bachelor of Laws from Osgoode Hall Law School, laying a solid foundation for his legal expertise.
